Seiwajyuku New York Forum was held on October 1, where Dr. Inamori gave a speech entitled "The Meaning of Life."
There were 900 participants, approximately 100 of which were non-Japanese speakers from the local area. Such a large turnout was quite impressive.
Operated by volunteer Seiwajyuku students, this was the 36th public lecture and was open to the general public. The Seiwajyuku students feel a sincere desire to allow others the opportunity to hear Inamori's message.
Also, the opening ceremony of the Seiwajyuku Silicon Valley branch was held on October 5, in San Jose. 180 students from Japan, the United States and Brazil participated, including 41 members from the Seiwajyuku Silicon Valley branch.
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Inamori discussed the importance of having a strong desire to accomplish one’s goals.
Seiwajyuku Silicon Valley opened as the 3rd branch in the U.S.A. and 59th branch in the world in June, 2008. |
