5F Founder Kazuo Inamori’s Office (Recreated): Exhibition Details

For approximately 24 years following the completion of Kyocera's current headquarters in 1998, Kazuo Inamori carried out his duties from this room. Here, Inamori conceptualized his management strategies and made decisions on important matters. The exhibit faithfully re-creates his office's simplicity and functionality, capturing Inamori's meticulous nature. Among the items on display are the calligraphy that reads "Keiten Aijin" (Respect the Divine and Love People), which is attributed to Takamori Saigo and which Inamori displayed in his office throughout his life; photographs from Kyocera's founding; books he referred to for inspiration and guidance; and the documents on his desk.

Displayed at the entrance are some of Kazuo Inamori's iconic quotes accompanied by photographs.

Authentic fixtures, including the actual framed calligraphy that adorned Inamori's office and the desk he worked from, are on display.
