Based on Japan's PHS technology, Kyocera has established telecommunications equipment businesses overseas.   In January 2000, PHS-based wireless access network services began in China in the cities of Beihai and Yichang.   Kyocera provided cell stations and handsets and also supported the creation of an end to end network.   By making full use of technologies developed in Japan, Kyocera supports the development of wireless telecommunication networks that will eventually replace wired infrastructures throughout the world.
In the process, we expect to provide the improved quality of service to people throughout the world.
